Sega says it means expansion, because the swirl starts from the middle and grows. Dreamcast can be upgraded, so, they thought the swirl fitted the system.

Answer
GD-ROM stands for Giga Drive-Read Only Memory. Its a modified CD-Rom holding 1 giga byte or 1000 mb of space. Thats 350mb more that a regular CD-ROM.

Try www.dreamfiles.com or try www.dreamcast.com page through your system & PC. I plan to buy the Nexus 16X card with the PC cable, there might be a VMU download section soon.

That is totally untrue, the Dreamcast is not the last Sega console. Its just that Sega will start to concentrate of the internet and internet gaming for a while. So they won't make a system for a while, thats why they made the Dreamcast upgradeable.

The Zip Drive will be released to the Japanese market sometime in March 2000, there is no specific date for the North American or European release.
